Singapore F1 timetable: how to separate Sprint, qualifying and race
Singapore's F1 timetable has five different session times, not one weekend start. A local-time calendar keeps Sprint qualifying, Sprint, qualifying and the race apart.
For a Sprint weekend, “when does it start?” has more than one answer. Formula 1's Singapore timetable lists five sessions across October 9–11. The useful calendar keeps each session next to its date and local time, then checks viewing access separately.
The five times in F1's announcement
the official source gives the following Singapore local-time schedule:
- Friday, October 9: Free Practice at 16:30.
- Friday, October 9: Sprint Qualifying at 20:30.
- Saturday, October 10: Sprint at 17:00.
- Saturday, October 10: Qualifying at 21:00.
- Sunday, October 11: Grand Prix at 20:00.
These are the announced session times, not a report that any session has already taken place. We have not verified a reader's streaming subscription, broadcaster access or event ticket.
Why this matters when you share a calendar
The session name is as important as the hour. Sprint Qualifying and Grand Prix Qualifying are different entries. Leaving out either label can send a reader to the wrong event even if the clock time is copied correctly.
For a Singapore audience, keeping the local-time basis visible avoids an unnecessary ambiguity. If someone converts the calendar for another country, they should retain both the original date and the timezone rather than sharing a detached number.
Example: a session-and-access card
Use three columns: session, Singapore time and viewing status. The first two can be filled from the official announcement. The last stays “not checked” until the relevant service or broadcaster is verified for the reader's own account and region.
This distinction prevents a schedule article from becoming an access promise. Availability in selected countries does not establish availability for every person who sees a post.
A YouTube timetable checklist
- Keep every session name attached to its time.
- Write “Singapore local time” on the shared card.
- Recheck the official timetable before the weekend.
- Do not promise streaming access, unchanged weather or a race result.
The calendar in the cover is deliberately blank and illustrative. It is not a screenshot of an official schedule or a photograph from this year's event. The five-row reader aid is Crescitaly's editorial addition.
